William Rogers has been one of the leading individual practitioners in the investment market for over 20 years, that experience encompassed several institutionally owned portfolios including the Eagle Fund, Ropemaker (BP Pension Fund) and Strategic Asset Management advice for Crown Estate on Kensington Palace Gardens Estate. In 2001 he jointly led the property and fund raising team for the £65m FRIP serviced residential fund, which attracted new institutions as investors.
WsR was appointed by CL Residential as investment sale agent in respect of the block sales of the former Charterhouse Fund (HSBC Specialist Investments) portfolio. Each of these sales attracted significant interest and were successfully sold.
WsR has acted for various clients in successfully acquiring investment blocks around London. This has ranged from a small 9 unit block in Kensington to a substantial block of 58 apartments in London’s South-bank, in Southwark.
Private Rented Sector (PRS)/ Build to Let (BTL)
WsR has been actively involved in the emergence of this new sector and is engaged with many of the leading institutions and funds now in the market. WsR was instructed to formulate and undertake a targeted marketing presentation of a 800 unit PRS/BTL portfolio and this was successfully delivered to the leading players in the sector. WsR is retained as Consultant to the Kitewood Group in respect of its London PRS Portfolio.
Serviced Apartments
William Rogers has for many years also been a leading agent in this fascinating market which crosses between the residential and hotel sectors. He transacted some of London’s key properties including the sale of the trophy asset, Grosvenor House Apartments on Park Lane.
WsR has continued that activity and has been involved in several Serviced Apartment buildings both in a consultancy and agency capacity. It has an ongoing acquisition brief in London for a leading US based Serviced Apartment owner/operator.
WsR is the appointed sale agent on the 93 unit Serviced Apartment block within the major Islington Square development in Islington, acting on behalf on Sager Group and Cain Hoy. Contracts have now been exchanged on the sale to the Ascott group from Singapore .
